My Bronco

F-150 exhaust soundbite - Magnaflow muffler on 2001 F-150 4.2L

The project that started it all is my 1987 Ford Bronco.  I started out with a simple 4x4 running 32” tires. Over the past three years my Bronco has become an obsession. I started out with a 6 point roll cage, and just kept going.

Newest modifications include an ARB equipped 9” rear axle, dual batteries, and a york air system from Sabre Force.

This coming spring, the entire front suspension will be replaced and rebuilt.  The current plan is autofab TTB arms with custom raduis arms, custom shock hoops, etc. The radius arms will have large heim joints on the ends, and the new suspension will likely use 14” travel Bilstein shocks.  I’m also hopng to add a set of Goodyear MT/R tires in a 35x12.50R15 or the popular 315/75R16 size.

Current modifications are numerous, but I’ll mention some of the major ones:

Ford Motorsport High Output 302

Ford Motorsport Mass Air Conversion

6 point roll cage with Beard Superseats and Diest hernesses

Fully Rhynolined interior

Custom Prerunner bumpers and rockguards (of course...)

4.09/4.11 gears with rear ARB air locker

Dual Optima Batteries (one red, one yellow)

Dual Spare Tires

4” Rancho/Superlift Suspension Lift

Rancho RS 9000 shocks

35x12.50 R15 BFG AT/KO tires

Autometer Guage assortment on custom rack

Powertank CO2 system

JBA headers, MSD ignition, Kenne Belle Ram Air kit, Poweraid throttle body spacer, BBK intake manifold spacer, Airtronics adjustable fuel pressure regulator, blah blah blah
